SIOUX FALLS, S.D., March 09, 2017 — Raven Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ:RAVN) today announced that its Engineered Films division, an innovative manufacturer of polymer film and sheeting, has introduced a new series in their signature DURA-SKRIM® reinforced product line. The new DURA-SKRIM “N” product family includes: N-Series, a scrim-reinforced polyethylene; NT-Series, a scrim-reinforced textured polyethylene featuring exclusive Raven GeoGrip™ texture; and NQ-Series, a scrim-reinforced polypropylene.
DURA-SKRIM N, NT and NQ-Series are flexible reinforced geomembranes designed to provide unmatched performance and durability for the most challenging projects. The “N” product line is formulated to be highly stabilized for excellent protection in long-term exposed environmental applications. Raven will introduce the DURA-SKRIM “N” product line at the 2017 Geotechnical Frontiers show from March 12 – 15, 2017 in Orlando, Fla.
The complete DURA-SKRIM product line includes six individual product familes of unique reinforced geomembranes that are specifically engineered to meet targeted application requirements throughout the geosynthetic industry. DURA-SKRIM N, NT and NQ-Series products were designed to meet the physical property values of select GRI-GM standard specifications, as written by the Geosynthetic Institiute, and are certified under the NSF/ANSI Standard 61, Drinking Water System Components – Health Effects.
“We have sold our flagship DURA-SKRIM product lines for nearly 30 years with a solid reputation of strong performance, and the new ‘N’ products are no exception,” stated Stacy Coffin, Director of Business Development for Raven Engineered Films. “These geomembranes are custom-engineered to meet the same high quality standards our customers expect from Raven through superior product performance and value.”
