Raven announced the release of AutoBoom® XRT, the latest advancement in boom control. AutoBoom XRT’s industry-leading radar sensor technology uses simultaneous ground and canopy detection to maintain optimal spray height for maximum product efficacy. Pressure-based control allows for smooth movement and quicker reaction time, while center rack stability technology with optional dampers gives the operator complete control, maximizing boom life.

Raven will be utilizing its precision agriculture technologies to power the autonomous farming solutions of the future. Already a proven leader in many precision ag markets, Raven develops solutions that will be a pivotal tool in the development of autonomous platforms. Raven’s first partnership will be with Dot Technology Corp. (DOT​), a sister company to SeedMaster​.

Raven announced today its expansion into Brazil with the opening of a regional headquarters in Paulínia, São Paulo. Raven do Brasil, aligned under the company’s Applied Technology division, will benefit greatly from the company's already proven value chain and be well positioned to provide excellence in the areas of service, quality and innovation.

Raven announced it has received a United States patent for its Hawkeye® Nozzle Control System: U.S. Patent No. 9,781,916. The patent was granted to Raven for the Hawkeye system’s new, innovative methods of applying chemicals to the field, including smart nozzles located on the boom of the sprayer and the communication between those nozzles and the Hawkeye electronic control unit.
