Raven announced the release of AutoBoom® XRT, the latest advancement in boom control. AutoBoom XRT’s industry-leading radar sensor technology uses simultaneous ground and canopy detection to maintain optimal spray height for maximum product efficacy. Pressure-based control allows for smooth movement and quicker reaction time, while center rack stability technology with optional dampers gives the operator complete control, maximizing boom life.

Join us as we celebrate the groundbreaking for South Dakota State University's new Raven Precision Agriculture Center! The ceremony will take place on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. The Raven Precision Agriculture Center, to be located on the university’s main campus in Brookings, will lead the nation in precision agriculture education, research, and extension. Raven Industries gave $5 million to the project in January.

Raven Industries and Topcon Agriculture, both leaders in the precision agriculture market, announced a licensing agreement for Topcon Agriculture's use of the Slingshot Application Programming Interface (API) in its various software platforms. The Slingshot API is a software-to-software interface that benefits the end-user by providing a simple and seamless way for sharing data between software systems.

Raven Industries was recognized today in the naming of South Dakota State University’s future precision agriculture facility. The Raven Precision Agriculture Center, to be located on the university’s main campus in Brookings, S.D., will lead the nation in precision agriculture education, research and extension. Raven Industries gave $5 million to the project in January. Today, the South Dakota Board of Regents approved the facility’s name.
