Raven Engineered Films has completed the installation and qualification of an advanced seven-layer barrier extrusion line, referred to as Line 15. This new production line is located in Raven’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Sioux Falls, S.D.
At Raven, we are dedicated to innovation — continuously improving our products and processes. David Ramos, Raven Engineered Films Inventory Handler, noticed an inconsistency in our quality inspection processes and developed a new tool to cut down on measuring time. In response to a recent order for disaster relief film, the Raven Engineered Films team grew by a handful of team members. In addition to volunteer team members from across our organization, the team also partnered with LifeScape for the assembly of tarp grabber kits, which secure our film products. Congratulations to Dorian Colvin, Raven Engineered Films Process Technician, for being named August’s Team Member Spotlight winner! Recognizing a safety need on Production Line 7, Dorian worked to implement new LED lighting in the production area.
